Lifelong New Jersey resident Debra Taeschler traces the impetus of her professional success back to when she was just 12 years old. It was then that her father passed away and her mother was forced to enter the job market. Those experiences, coupled with her mother’s philosophy, “Do it right or don’t do it at all,” touched her in a way that has guided her ever since. After graduating from Rutgers (summa cum laude/Phi Beta Kappa), Debra entered the advertising world, working her way up from mechanical artist to vice president of account management. In 1986, she launched her own state-certified, woman-owned company from the basement of her home. Over the ensuing decades, as countless New Jersey competitors came and went, GráficaGroup flourished — primarily due to Debra’s uncanny ability to inspire. Under her stewardship, it has become the agency of choice for many FORTUNE 1000 companies and New Jersey’s leading corporations and associations. Debra has contributed greatly to everything from the American Red Cross to Dress for Success to the Delbarton School and, Rutgers. She is a mentor to all of the young women (and men) who have joined the ranks of GráficaGroup and an inspiration for all.
