Marilyn Grabowski

As early as 2008, New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) recognized Marilyn as a Top 30 Women in Business. At that time she only had 12 employees, today she has over 80 and continues to work tirelessly to win contracts in the utility construction marketplace. Marilyn has founded three utility contracting companies in less than 13 years and brings incredible vitality to what is a traditionally male dominated industry. All three companies are certified by the Women Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
The first company, a paving business called Atlantic Infrared was founded in 2002, and works to restore potholes for major utilities. Atlantic Infrastructure was established in 2009 to install and maintain underground utilities and Atlantic Infratrac was founded in 2011 to provide services to support Call before You Dig (811). Infratrac places flags and paint marks for the largest utility in NJ. Marilyn is a Past President of the Board of Public Utilities Supplier Diversity Development Council (SDDC) and received the SDDC Outstanding Service Award in 2012 and 2009. In October 2014 Marilyn was recognized as one of NJ Monthly’s Top 25 Leading Women Entrepreneurs. Starting 2015 with great strides, Marilyn received both the NJBIZ Best 50 Women in Business and Enterprising Women of the Year Award.
Marilyn is a proud stakeholder of the New Jersey Common Ground Alliance where she was recently announced as a Board Member. She is a Platinum member of the Women President’s Organization (WPO). She is also on the Operations Committee of the New Jersey Utilities Association (NJUA), and is a dedicated participant on the Construction Industry Advancement Program Committee for the Utility Transportation Contractors Association (UTCA), NJ Asphalt Association (NJAPA), Alliance for Action, and the Pt.
