Tracy E. Straka has almost thirty years of operational and technical experience in the environmental industry. Her skill set includes corporate strategy, risk management, operations, strategic planning, costing/estimating project management, insurance, trade associations, board leadership and volunteer service.
Ms. Straka has been with Creamer Environmental, Inc. since its inception and is involved in all aspects of the organization’s day-to-day operations, as well as estimating, technical and regulatory management of remediation projects. She has managed more than one thousand projects involving solid and hazardous waste issues, regulatory compliance, MGP remediation, and innovative technologies and was active in the remediation and redevelopment of more than 20,000,000 square feet of industrial “Brownfield” properties in the state of New Jersey. Ms. Straka, a certified environmental auditor, also serves as an environmental advisor to local business groups, investment and financial organizations, realtors, attorneys, and property owners. Prior to her employment with Creamer, Ms. Straka was the Vice President of Environmental Waste Management Associates, Inc., an internationally respected environmental consulting firm. As that firm’s first employee, she was instrumental in its growth and success.
Ms. Straka is the founder and chair of the state’s largest environmental trade association, is a frequent speaker and contributor to many publications and participates in a wide variety of organizations with interests in environmental issues. Ms. Straka has been involved with numerous start-ups and acquisition evaluations, served on numerous boards, and was the first female to chair the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey, an 85 year old free enterprise business association.
