Liza Walsh, once the subject of an article titled “Is This the Most Powerful Woman in New Jersey?” has made a true mark on the state’s legal profession. As chair of Connell Foley LLP’s litigation practice and managing partner of the firm’s newly opened Newark office, she has been instrumental in developing her firm’s reputation as one of New Jersey’s leading firms.
Liza focuses her practice on federal and complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on intellectual property, antitrust and class action defense matters. She has extensive experience representing some of the country’s largest and most prestigious companies, through which she has earned a reputation of being a fierce advocate on her clients’ behalf. A member of Connell Foley’s Executive Committee, she also chairs the firm’s Finance Committee, working with the firm’s business partners to ensure the efficient operation of the firm. She sits on the Board of the New Jersey Ballet Company and is a member of the Finance Committee of the Archdiocese of Newark.
