Alicia Scales is the Manager of Supplier Diversity at Pfizer. She is responsible for building and sustaining relationships with small and diverse suppliers to ultimately increase their inclusion into Pfizer’s global supply chain.
In her previous role at Pfizer, she led Supplier Diversity spend reporting activities and Working Capital initiatives. She joined Pfizer in December 2011 as a Manager of Business Development for Global Procurement where she provided project management leadership and analytical support for the divestiture of the Nutritionals (Nutri) business and spin off the Animal Health (Zoetis) business.
Prior to joining Pfizer, Alicia worked at Johnson & Johnson (J&J) where she held various roles with increasing responsibility and successfully completed the Finance Leadership Development Program. Her responsibilities at J&J included Corporate Internal Audit and business partner support to the Ortho Clinical Diagnostics Fluids Plant, Janssen R&D Information Technology organization & Janssen Commercial Sales organization.
Alicia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Penn State University and graduated with honors as part of the Schreyer Honors College.
